  • A few cribbings, a theft and a weekend

About most of the people whom i have known via the cyber-space,professionally are yes big time snobs. No harm done if they have been snobs all the while, but seems like they have taken to this idea of being snobbish fairly seriously. But then, it has great results. Let me begin from the beginning.

Not a long while ago,I tried to get in touch with a couple of former friends of mine, one who I have liked very much, the other a mutual friend. Lost touch with them since I had to change places, travel etc, and still I kept sms ing them from time to time, or whenever I had time, mailed them. But they had not taken this thing rightly. Anyways, its not my problem. If they can't keep up a good friendship bond, maybe, they did'nt deserve it in the first place.

Next in my list, is my boss, who despite my sincere cooperation, refused to give me the credit I was due. Last known, he met with an accident and I won't say more. But its not that I curse people or something, I am hoping that no harm comes to my snob friends who have chosen to ignore me, of late.

A few days ago, my cousin lost her purse. That's not all. She (but naturally) lost her cards along with it. And she did not seem to realise that she lost her purse until about she reached home. When she did, a cool guy had already spent a handsome chunk from her credit card. When she did report to the police, they merely asked her what she wanted!! She merely stated that she wanted a mere acknowledgement that she filed a report and they gave it to her. Don't actually think even for a moment that she expected you James Bond like smarties to find things back for her!! Anyway, that's a bit too much for me, I mean had I lost a purse, I would'nt know what I would have done. But teaches us a moral alright. If you lose your purse, remember to search for it immediately. Gah!

  • Shhh!

I may sound crazy, but I seem to realise these days that most of the people whom I've known personally are all snobs. Yeah. More about them later.saynice

  • Musing

Been LTNS but i have seen that so is the case with so many others.  This is an interesting place to be in, but time is a very rare commodity these days.  When I am not dozing, I try to teach, study, and spend money generally. Not much hard work I know, but still I dont know how some manage to do all their things and still find time to write interesting stuff.

Right now its very hot here. Wonder how the sages spent their summers so long ago in this ancient land. Not hard to imagine now, is it?

  • Romantic 1st lines...and deadly 2nd ones

A local newspaper ran a competition asking for a rhyme with the most romantic first line... but the least romantic second line. Here are some of the entries they received.

I thought that I could love no other
Until, that is, I met your brother.

Roses are red, violets are blue, sugar is sweet, and so are you.
But the roses are wilting, the violets are dead, the sugar bowl's empty and so is your head.

Oh loving beauty you float with grace
If only you could hide your face

    Kind, intelligent, loving and hot;
This describes everything you are not

I want to feel your sweet embrace
But don't take that paper bag off of your face

I love your smile, your face, and your eyes -
Damn, I'm good at telling lies!

My darling, my lover, my beautiful wife:
Marrying you screwed up my life

I see your face when I am dreaming.
That's why I always wake up screaming

My love, you take my breath away.
What have you stepped in to smell this way

My feelings for you no words can tell,
Except for maybe "go to hell"

    What inspired this amorous rhyme?
Two parts vodka, one part lime
